David “Rock” Feinstein’s rock and roll pedigree is indisputable.
Throughout the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s Rock played in several bands with his cousin, the late, great Ronnie James Dio. Among these were Ronnie Dio and The Prophets, The Electric Elves and, most notably, Elf.
In the ‘80’s he handled guitar and vocals for the cult metal band The Rods, considered “one of America's unsung blue-collar heavy metal bands.” Their power trio format and punk-simple image often drew comparisons to Mötorhead and world tours opening for bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Ozzy cemented their legacy. In 2004, after a brief hiatus from the music industry, Rock signed with Magic Circle Music and released “Third Wish,” under the moniker Feinstein. Hailed as “fantastic stuff with no shortage of riffs,” Rock’s MCM debut reestablished him as a purveyor of quality, kick-ass heavy metal.

In a career that now spans more than four decades, Rock Feinstein has managed to carve out a unique niche for himself, one in which he is both elder statesman and contemporary torch-bearer, and "One Night In The Jungle" is a testament to these facts and an ass-kicking addition to an already impressive body of work.
